This outstanding colt was spotted during a visit to the very well known Ascot Stud situated in Victoria in November 2006.
I had wanted a colt for a while and with Choir Master it was love at first sight. He was everything that I had being looking for in a colt and oh what a front. He is a true riding pony with looks to die for, combining such wonderful bloodlines as Keston Royal Occasion (imp UK) (dec), Sir Percy of Paxhall (imp UK) (dec), Strinesdale Matador (UK) and Downland Solitaire (imp UK).
Choir Master’s Dam Ascot Lisa Marie needs no introduction to the showring being a multi champion both led and ridden and his sire Ascot Classic Silk is a producer of many multi champions. Choir Master's younger full sister, Ascot Elizabeth Arden was a multi champion by the tender age of 8mths and his full brother Ascot Magnum Silk (owned by Thorne Park Stud in Western Australia) is currently following in his older siblings footsteps. Choir Master is now broken to saddle and has started to embark on a career that is showing to to be his ultimate forte. With his amazing temperament, wonderful movement, stunningingly elegant front and good strong body he is taking everything that is asked of him under saddle in his stride. Capably ridden and trained by 19yo Emma Adam's.
Choir Master is currently with Kate and Doyle Dertell of Future Farms in Victoria and is getting better everyday. We are hoping that big things will come from this magnificent colt and are very excited about his future with us.
Choir Master has a fairytale pedigree full of champions that are proven time and time again with the ultimate of temperaments to go with it. He has been named either Champion or Reserve at nearly all shows attended since starting his career at 8 mths old and has amassed a huge amount of admirers from Queensland to Victoria and in between.
